These terms cover your use of architect-buddy.com and the Architect Buddy product (the "Service"). By using the site or joining the launch list, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What the Service is
Architect Buddy is a free assistant that helps individual developers reason about software architecture decisions. It produces recommendations, tradeoff analysis, and reports based on a curated knowledge base and AI-assisted reasoning. The site is currently pre-launch; some features are a preview and may change.
No professional advice, no warranty
Architect Buddy's output is informational only. It is not professional engineering, legal, financial, or security advice, and it does not replace the judgement of a qualified professional. AI-generated recommendations can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding how to apply anything the Service suggests.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its output.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
- scrape or bulk-extract content in a way that harms the Service or infringes others' rights.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, and the curated knowledge base are the operator's property or used with permission. Third-party sources and references remain the property of their respective owners. You may read, copy, and save reports the Service generates for your own use.
The launch list
If you submit your email, you consent to receive a launch notification and occasional build updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how your email is handled.
Availability and changes
The Service is free and offered on a best-effort basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice. We may also update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use means you accept the changes.
