Architect Buddy is a free, pre-launch product for individual developers. This policy explains the limited personal data we process, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a waitlist and understand how the site is used.
Who is responsible
This site (architect-buddy.com) is operated under the name Architect Buddy by an independent individual, not a registered company. For any privacy question or request, contact: [email protected].
What we collect and why

We do not collect names, payment details, or account credentials. The product is free and has no login.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure site usage. It sets cookies and processes your IP address (truncated / anonymised where supported). Analytics does not load until you accept the cookie banner. If you reject it, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
We also store your email in your browser's localStorage after you sign up,
so the confirmation state persists on that device. This is functional, stays on your
device, and is not shared.
Who we share data with (processors)
We rely on a few third-party services that process data on our behalf:
- Formspree — receives and stores waitlist email submissions. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics (Google) — usage measurement, loaded only after consent. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts (Google) — serves the site's web fonts; your IP address is visible to Google when fonts load.
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EU/EEA.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until the product launches and for a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR or UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we'll act on it. You can unsubscribe from launch emails at any time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
